Thank you for sharing that with me. I’m amazed that it too so long to get from Sheerness to your dealer. I was expecting around 1 week. But glad that you’ve also got yours having been in the same boat. I had originally ordered the 1.6GT Petrol , only to be told 8 months later that I was unlikely to get it due to the engine being discontinued.
Then placed an order for 1.2 GT petrol, again constant delays so cancelled.
Went to Ford to order a Grand Tourney connect, and 8 months in, same story.
Luckily spoke to a local dealer who had 1.5 BHDi just built – so didn’t hesitate to cancel the ford and order this instead.
Regarding seats, I believe you might be referring to the GT Premium that came with heated and massaging seats that came as standard. That was later removed and the top model available was the GT but seats at an extra cost of £700 – that’s what I ordered initially, and believe the car on its way to us has them specced.
How have you found your Peugeot? I am at the end of leasing a Tiguan TDI R Line which has been fab, but needed something that offered larger boot space for an electric wheelchair. Prior to this I had the BMW X1 xDrive 25d. I hope the Peugeot lives up close to them at least!
