Luckily British Gas still kept some of their old gas reservoirs in good shape. They were going to close them down until the pandemic hit and supply problems were evident.
The Govt need to restore some of these reservoirs in the short term. Gas is still marginal, especially in the next year. 23/24 will see power cuts across Europe.
They scraped by last year, this coming year is different with zero Russian gas.
