Some good price drops on the 60 as well but still a pain having to pay more than 2k for a package just to get heated seats

i wouldnt pay extra for them, its a nice thing to have but realistically ive used mine less than a dozen times in 3 yrs. our winters arent that bad.so long as i can defrost screens and mirrors thats it.

I normally expect them on a car with leather as a cheap option as leather is mighty cold in the winter. Rules out the leather seats.

When you’re talking defrosting I like a bit of assistance but it’s the same pack to get heated washer jets and the pack with heated screen isn’t even available on the standard 60 or 80

I live in the Cairngorms and that coupled with various medical conditions, heated seats are not a luxury but an essential. However, if you are saying that it’s £2000 extra just to get them, I’d have to check out possible alternatives. I think that most people expect heated seats as standard these days. My car had a NIL AP and heated seats and steering wheel were standard.

The pack including heated seats also includes Advanced Keyless Entry and start stop system, Wireless charging, privacy glass and acoustic side windows, driver alert, glasses storage, adaptive cruise control, traffic jam assist, blind spot detection and crew protect assist, heated front seats and jet washer  nozzles, tri-zone climate control, 2 spoke leather steering wheel (heated) with paddles for regen level and drive mode selection, blinds for rear windows, electrically operated child locks and 2 USB C charging ports in the rear as well as tow bar preparation.  That pack costs £2,755 for both versions.

The pack includes a lot of thing I’d have thought standard on a car of that price.  That makes the lounge versions £6,904 for the 60 and £8,054 for the 80.  It’s notable that the 80 with the pack would then go against the Ioniq LR, Mustang, ID4 Style Pro Performance.  It’s down to personal preference as to which of those you’d end up with, although the Skoda goes further per charge (just).

I’m curious as to why the pack is the same price for both sizes, given the steering wheel is standard on the 80?

The iv 80 doesn’t come as standard with the upgraded steering wheel.

Both the iv60 and iv80 are identical other than battery size.

I know the brochure shows that steering wheel on iv80 but it’s only an example if you get the first option pack.

Been to 2 dealers today to confirm and at one we actually ran orders through the Skoda system to compare spec and both cars come up the same.

What did the dealer advise on the lead times for IV80, please?

There has been deliveries of stock sent out by Skoda for most dealers, it’s a bit random and some have option packs or old options added.  Apparently none are the same so there’s a shot you could find one that has some, or all that you want ready made and good to go.  I’m likely to be having that conversation with the dealer in the next few weeks.

You can check dealer stock on the Skoda website

Spoke to a couple of dealers today and Skoda are now quoting 12 weeks delivery time for the 60 and couple of weeks longer for the 80
