Kezo, I doubt Mike’s computer screen is as good as yours and I guess the differences you are demonstrating aren’t going to be obvious unless the monitor is as good as the TV. The main gain from my Hisense over the old Panasonic is HDR, the increased range of colours lending the depth to the image, and I’m sure that will be what will impress Mike the most from a new TV. My PC screen cant reproduce HDR from a YouTube video, but of course my TV can.
You don’t need an HDR monitor to see there’s a slight difference. look at the picture keeping your hands steady ideally on a larger device than a phone. I’m viewing on my laptop, The video comparing the LG c2, c1, a2 and a1 on the previous page all formats SD. HD 4K and 4k upscaling aswell as HDR. From that you can see the a2 is closer to the brightness of c1 than the the a1 would be with most content you view. HDR would be a surprise bonus.
MY LG is the G1 similar to the one on the left it,s the new EVO panel, it was said to be 30% brighter especially in HDR, I myself qestion that against my old CX model. it is brighter but only in some scenes with HDR other than that theres little in it.
