I don’t follow that thread, so no, wouldn’t know. That said, i prefer android over iOS as well, for the most part – i do like my 21 iPad Pro for editing etc (and flying my drone, though that’s more hardware related), and my wife likes it for the painting stuff, but in general android is certainly better.
If Android Automotive becomes standard in every single car out there, i’d be a happy panda. I can’t overstate how much better it is compared to the current stuff from VAG, BMW, Stellantis or Mercedes, Hyundai, Kia and basically everything else other than Polestar and Volvo (both of which also use Android Automotive).
To tie this to the thread, i can’t speak for the Ariya (the more i think of that name, the worse it gets as a german, i just noticed), but the ID OS is serviceable (nowadays, was awful two years ago), but not great. The Enyaq uses the same system. Android Automotive definitely blows the VAG system out of the water.
