I’m not able to do much outside, the world is so inaccessible to wheelchair users. I used to enjoy looking after my car, could spend hours, and lots of money, cleaning and polishing, but I need someone to help me now. I have a shed full of tools, I would love to get into machining/metal lathes and cnc but don’t have the strength, energy or the funds, so have been finding things to keep me occupied indoors. I can’t draw anymore as I can’t keep my hands still, so I have tried; PS5 gaming, assembling electronic kids (soldering), building RC cars, video editing, kit bashing (making plastic models) but nothing has really stuck, they are not very portable and take up too much room. I am going to try carving little figures next as I can do it when sat anywhere, as long as I don’t make too much mess.
