oh i fully appreciate that, given some of the other experiences people have had with dealers selling cars out from under people etc. i too wouldnt be relaxed until i saw the car in the flesh so to speak. i would try and get to the bottom of this paperwork issue its not something ive seen before from anyone else on here unless others can shed an light. fingers crossed for you.
Hi Mitch this is the response i got from sales Manager who had contact with Fiat uk on the problem this is it The is a European regulation which aims to cut major sources of noise caused by motor vehicles.
The customer can learn more about it by searching “regulation 540/2014” i did search it but really non the wiser why after July 6TH they need to update paperwork but could have reg it before that date i have never come across this unless it is due to being outside the EU now.
