My last 2 MB cars have came with tinted glass as standard but they were nowhere near dark enough for me – had them both professionally tinted like some of the posters above , around the 160/170 mark if i remember right , worth every penny – I think they actually knock the Vat off is the car has disabled tax status ??‍♂️

curent car is over 3 years old and has had tints fitted within a week , makes the car look much better and there is no way people can see into the back of my car – my little dog is always me so stops nosey people or annoying kids spotting him

I’ll agree with WW about keeping the car cooler too, even up here the Sun and Heat has been relentless the past couple of days , but I compared it with neighbours car the other day and mines def did feel cooler inside

obviously if the sun is shining directly onto the front windscreen for hours it wouldn’t make too much difference and the interior will feel like a boil in the bag curry that’s been left on for too long!

i know it’s common sense but those of you who have a pano roof , make sure you keep it the screen closed cos that makes a massive difference too!

3 year old tints and still in perfect nick

i mean it’s a proper skill doing it professionally , and I think what good companies charge is well worth the money ??
