It’s well worth the wait Trevor (although, luckily, ours took less than 5 months even though we only ordered a month or so before you). We are now 8 months and over 6,000 miles into our X1 and are still very pleased with it. The engine is near silent and the fuel economy for a fast 2.0i 4WD SUV is an unexpected bonus. I did a long motorway journey last week and decided to see what economy I could get at a steady 60mph. I got 51.4mpg and, with the larger fuel tank, this gave a range of 650 miles. Incredible really. That’s better than we’ve had from our last few diesels ?. I hope that you are as pleased with yours.
