What I find ODD, is when car manufacturers have 2 sometimes 3 different metallic whites & 2 different metalic greys colours ?? White is white and ,I know some have solid and matalic paints.

I know what you mean about whites Micky. White was always a standard (free) colour when nobody wanted it (other than cheapskates who wouldn’t pay for metallic, or hire cars) then, when it came into fashion, manufacturers invented metallic whites, often eliminating the free non-metallic white!

Grey is an entirely different matter though. There are countless shades of grey (at least 50, someone once told me ?), and a dark (almost black) grey looks entirely different to a mid grey which looks entirely different again to a light grey. Then you have sparkly metallic and flat metallic greys, plus the latest trend for very pale putty like greys. So you can have a choice of quite a few different greys and they will all look entirely different!
