You can legally get the “Chameleon” Tint on your front Windscreen , it covers the full windscreen and looks good, tbh in my opinion it looks good on high performance, high spec and ultimately high value cars not so sure it would look that good on most Motability cars lol
but beauty is in the eye of the beholder ??
I did have 2 cars in me early 20’s that had the front 2 windows tinted ( both like that when I bought them )
definetly wouldn’t do it now or drive a car with them , would be asking for trouble I think
My current car came with factory tints but honestly they were only very slight to the point you’d think they weren’t
I think it cost me around £150 ish ( 2 years ago ) it was meant to be £175 ish but you don’t pay Vat on them being a disabled vehicle or something along those lines , I’m not sure I just turned up to collect the car and settle the bill and the owner told the figure and I paid
I did enquire about a very light tint being applied to the front windows and the legality of it
the owner said the front 2 already come with the maximum legal tint allowed and that his company never tint the front
I took his word for it and was happy with that ??
like any business there are some better than others , better quality you work, professional standards and reputations and some that will happily take the money customers offer
The company I used probably have the best reputation in Glasgow if not Scotland and tint all the high end super cars with ecmxtea tints before customers collect them
they also do lots of normal cars too ? ( like mines ) lol
