Not heard of anyone personally who have ordered a car not showing in the Motability search menu but I’ve heard it said that Motability might, and its a big might, let you order a car that’s higher up the trim level and not on the Motability because it breaks the AP limits as long as the base model of that trim is on Motability but you also must have a very, very good reason as to why you need the higher spec car.
As far as the VW Sharan is concerned reading the latest brochure published 11/05/2021 only the SE Nav is available to buy and only from stock so my guess is the car has been discontinued but surprised the SE Nav never remained on Motability until all the stock was sold, unless of course, all stock has been sold.
I’m due to order next month and with all the comings and goings it puts my head in a spin for sure so where all in the same boat I’m afraid to say.
