I wonder if any others on this great page have heard ‘salesman speak’ when they’ve been in to order a car or taken part in an handover?

My recent problems during a handover made me think. During the handover I commented on the body coloured shark fin aerial being replaced by a skinny black stick of an aerial and was told by the salesman ‘Oh, they’re all the rage now’ when what he really meant was ‘it’s another cutback Vauxhall have made while you’ve been kept waiting for your car to be built’.

<p style=”text-align: left;”>Some of these car salesmen are so shallow. If myself and Mrs 72 dudes are in a car showroom and the salesman says “that colour is really popular” or ” most people are going for the GLE model, that’s the kiss of death for that car/dealer/salesman ?</p>
