Hi DougieB,
I used to work for a private car parking company who used to operate Tesco’s car parks.
Working in the appeals department, I discovered the moment the appellant started using the word ‘I’, they were admitting fault and therefore, the appeal would be rejected. What we were seeking was the drivers details at the time of incident, however, the driver could’ve been anyone and not necessary the car’s owner. I would suggest that you decline to offer the driver’s details as the PCN is essentially a notice of ‘ill’ parking. If you don’t mind me asking, who was the PCN issued from?
