I don’t know about the Kona as such. But I have had three children in various car seats for the last 10 years. It comes down to the width of the car and the amount of space they can leave between the seat belts. If its a narrow car then the base of the car seat can end up on top of the seat belt retainer. I have had to have mpv cars for the last 10 years in order to fit 3 seats side by side as mpvs are wide bodied and have 3 individual chairs each designed for a child seat.
