Has anyone noticed that in the “Lifestyles” Motability mag they now give a star rating (I’ve never noticed it before so new to me) to the suitability of loading a scooter in the back of a car in the cars they review. It sounds a great ideal but I wonder just how they define the stars, are they based on a scooter broken down into pieces or fully assembled scooter that can by loaded with a hoist and what of the usability of the seats when scooters are loaded as even some quite small cars can carry a pavement scooter in pieces with the back seats folded down.

Its a great ideal but those one or five stars means nothing to me.

It won’t be about how much the seats can be used when the scooter is in the car as that would depend entirely on the car.

Might be worth dropping them an email to explain what the stars are for.
