What the writer of the article also failed to mention is that Nissan (and other e-vehicle manufacturers) don’t actually have a lot of choice in this if they want to continue to sell cars to the EU. The whole of the EU is adopting the same measures. It was not mentioned as it’s not really what the article is about – Nissan could have stopped making cars in the UK and just made them elsewhere in the EU or elsewhere but they have chosen to stay which is very good.
