Richard that is a fair way but how do you do that when all cars are BEVs, do you increase the price of electricity in the home, if you can charge from home. Im not sure if smart meters are that smart, that they can identify when a car is being charged rather than the electricity used to run your home, but if they are this could be an option.
The public chargers would be taxed similarly.
