      This is a very useful website for checking various dimensions of cars which will be useful to Motability users. It may help when trying to whittle down a new car list.

      First link is the main website and second link is for the car manufacturer list where you can easily check important dimensions.

      For those not aware of this, I hope it’s useful for you.

        Nice find Wayne

        What we need is a links repository. So we have a go to page for motabilty related links.

            @Joss, that’s a good idea. ?

            , thank you. I’ve never spotted that but did wonder if there was a link somewhere on the Motability site as they are one of the clients listed.

              If external dimensions and boot capacity important to you then I find this augments the RIDC site.

                Thanks for adding @Smallcar.  Very useful.

                I was actually looking for the length of seat pads. The measurement from the back rest to the end it the thigh support. I’m surprised that the site I posted doesn’t have this. I can’t find anywhere that does.
                With my disability, I need a short seat pad and, as yet, have not found anywhere that provides this.
                With many cars having thigh extensions, they are too long for me and make travelling intolerable. I was pleasantly surprised at the Volvo as the Inscription Pro has these extensions but the seat is within my limit.

                  The issue for me is that a lot of cars just don’t seem to get updated.  I wish manufacturers would just list boot dimensions aw well as capacity, as tbh, the capacity doesn’t really help when I’m trying to work out whether our pride fusion and ramps will fit 🙁

                    Very true Gary.
                    Many are listed as having huge capacity but include under floor storage and side pockets. This is useless information for wheelchair users.
                    The dimensions of the boot are of much more use.
