Tried Tesco site all day yesterday. Despite being acknowledged by Tesco as on Govt list, their “Priority Slot” offered no slots thru the day. But, as suspected, sign on a few secs past midnight, and if you’re quick enough you can get a slot. It is ludicrous enough that this is what you have to do even if you are not on the list. But even more bonkers is the fact that clicking on Priority button finds no slots at any time – even at midnight. You have to click the ordinary booking button to get one!
So why bother with the whole Priority business at all? I feel more than a bit hacked off, having spent hours writing emails and letters and waiting on phone to get on a Tesco scheme which does nothing! It’s not even that it doesn’t work well – it simply does not exist. Bloody stupid and a waste of our time.
