It’s a game of supply and demand, and V0lvo are being cocky at the moment. In fairness, they’ve shed their grandpa image and currently have a nice range of cars which are no doubt attracting good retail sales.
Don’t forget – wind the clock back 4 years, they were knocking out XC60s on Motability like there was no tomorrow. They wouldn’t have been doing that if they had the retail demand.
Protest on this by avoiding Volvo all together – don’t even give the dealers the time of day – or if you do speak to them, tell them where they can stick their metallic paint. If that is replicated across the country, the dealers will get spooked and change will undoubtedly follow soon.
