Finally, someone has come forward on this. It’s something I’ve been bleating on about since the crude price dropped.
It was reported in national press that pump prices were dropping and Asda and Tesco even went on record stating they were dropping prices and gave the figures. It has not happened. I’m still paying about 4p per litre more than in December for diesel.
Blatant profiteering by the retailers, especially Asda and Tesco. How this is not being investigated is beyond me. If it is, there’s no evidence of it. ?
