Storyline, hello. Pleased to hear that someone has come through the PIP horror OK. First, well, anything is going to disappoint after the A3 Quattro. But I see that the Superb hybrid has just come on the scheme. Now, I don’t know whether it has all the electric bizzos, widgets and driver aids you need, but I’ve had two Superbs on the scheme and have been very pleased with them. Easy to get in and out (wonky back for me), absurdly comfortable and rewarding to drive. The new hybrid also carries some 220 bhp – not quite up there with your A3, but useful nevertheless. Only thing it could use is 4×4 to stop it skittering out of corners.
