The main issue, to me, with the i3 is the lack of fast charging capability. Max 7.4 kw charging means a really long delay in a journey if you need 7 hrs or so to fully charge. Contrast that to the latest models with 0 to 80% charge in 30 mins!
I’ve heard rumours that BMW are going to update the i3 and wouldn’t consider one personally until this issue is addressed. I suppose it’s not an issue if you only use the car locally and don’t do any journeys over the single charge range.
