I believe it’s metallic.
I gave the dealer the choice of colour with the request they choose the one that gets here fastest. So we have ended up with diamond black. Im ok with that, it looks really smart. Not looking forward to washing it every five minutes!
I have one on order due to be delivered at the end of the month.
Test drove it a while back and found it was excellent. Didn’t notice any problems with the ride, in fact thought it was very smooth. For comparison I drive a VW Tiguan Allspace.
The boot is a lot smaller than the Tiggy, but I can still get my sons large wheelchair in there if I take the wheels off. A compromise I’m happy to make. On the upside the cabin space in the rear seats is amazing, which is exactly where we need it. Other cars like the Enyaq have larger boots but the rear seats are much more cramped compared to the Scenic. Similar space but laid out differently.
If the 20″ wheels do concern you then switch to the even cheaper Techno which comes with 19″. The spec is almost identical with only a few cosmetic things missing. And its a fair amount cheaper.My current car, a VW Tiguan Allspace 2019, I had tracking from the very start to the moment it arrived at the dealership. I don’t see why being a Motability customer would mean we are afforded any lesser treatment.
Quite frustrated with my dealer. Ordered the car on the 20th and they said it could be here in 2 weeks (also that it could be longer, but who listens the the worst estimate?) Since the order went through I have been trying to get tracking from them without any success. Have logged into the my Renault website with my email address and my wife’s (not sure which they used for the order) and neither shows an order. That’s why I was interested in the VIN number as they gave me that. But if that wont work till we have the car I don’t see the point in them giving it to me now.
Have emailed two different people at the dealers today, the “Product Genius” who we have been communicating with, and the Motability specialist. No reply. If I don’t hear tomorrow I will start getting cross and considering taking my order to another dealer.
Looking foward to picking mine up. Could have had one 2 weeks earlier, but wanted the Matt grey paint that takes me into the first week of Sept and the new 74 reg. Happy with that. I nay need to get on to the dealership and ask about these cashback discounts I’ve seen of around £250. Although I’m more than happy to pay the £995 AP, £250 is still better off in my pocket than theirs.
Did you manage to get order tracking working? I ordered mine on the 20th and said I dont mind which colour just get it here as soon as possible. Was hoping for 2 weeks but they have gone very quiet.
Having the same problem myself. Dealer is very vague about the delivery time (2 weeks – 3 months) and I keep trying to get them to give me a better idea, but to no avail so far. They eventually gave me a VIN but that does nothing in the app or on the myrenault website. Feels like once you sign the order form they stop making any effort.
