Here is the “itemised” invoice – strangely dropped £300 overnight

I have asked a qualified electrician that we have used to quote for cable and ground work including post – £500.

Bear in mind this doesnt include whatever “Standard” charge they make to Motability – this is JUST the cost to me!

I asked the following of Ohme – “Thanks
We cant afford that im afraid. Can we get the ground works done ourselves or have it installed ourselves?”

Their response – “Unfortunately the answer to both your questions is no unfortunately.We do not allow customers to have work done themselves and our agreement with Motability precludes us from just giving them the charger.”

 

How do we go from my electrician being able to do the work within regulations @£500 to £2,200 excluding the charge to motability for a standard instal??? A monopoly and a rip off! Disgusting

Thanks, but I’ve tried every optioN and the final call with motability suggested we return the car – loose our AP £750

gcb and pay them £50 admin fee and go ICE – unbelievable

Contacted ohme and installer and they insist only they can do the work! I have both emails – I did ask I we can do prep

work. They said no. Motability then said only 5m cable with instal.

basically a monopoly and total rip

off merchants.
