I think it’s quite the marmite car. I didn’t like them when I saw them online, however when I saw them in person I liked it. I actually went in with the idea I’d be going for the Plus dark with additional options, however seeing the car in person sold it to me.

Thank you all. I went with the XC40 black edition which comes with the tinted rear quater as standard with the 360 camera in the end.

I was told if I was adding on more than just the 360 camera, there could have been room for negotiation, however I didn’t see any benefit in the sound system upgrade, driver assistance add on, towbar or spare wheel (as I have a friend who works for a Volvo parts supplier who can get it at dealer cost price for me).

I test drove a B3 for a couple of hours and really liked it, even with it being the lower powered vehicle than the one on the scheme, it drove well.

Hi all,

I’m interested in the XC40, but would want to add some extras (rear tinted windows and 360 camera). Do Volvo allow options to be added? If they do allow options to be added, is there any room for negotiation on options cost?
