      Hi ,

I switched from a Seat Ateca to an XC40 in March of this year. My wheelchair fits nicely into the boot, there is no boot lip to contend with. I removed the parcel shelf and that slides nicely underneath the boot floor. I just have to make sure the chair is pushed all the way back. Its a lovely car to drive and I’m glad I chose it. Wether your Mum’s wheelchair will fit or not will depend on how big/foldable the chair is. A good friend of mine is an independent Car Salesman and regularly takes me out for a spin in one of his “new” stock…the XC40 (minus parcel shelf) is the only car my Crypton R wheelchair fits in without taking the wheels off.

      Good Luck 🍀
