I know very little about those being talked about as the next Prime Minister but going on the basis that nobody could be worse than BJ I am relaxed about who gets the job, as long as it’s not Liz Truss.
So I’m sure there are members who have a deeper knowledge of those being touted so it would be good to hear your views and comments.
The only person who got all his work done by Friday was Robinson Crusoe.

Don’t want any of them. They are mostly million-/billionaires and couldn’t care less about the ordinary Mk 1 citizen. Most accurate way to predict who will get the job is see who the Daily Flail says is the best. Selection committee will go with that because the Flail will make sure the win the next election. And that’s all they care about – not the Ukraine war, not the inflation horror, not the impending death of the NHS. Just being in power is all that matters.
Boris has set the Tories back a decade, they can dress up behind the drama of appointing a new leader with their committees and try to divert attention but it’s a slow motion car crash with a different driver. Personally I’m looking forward to the Labour – Lib Dem coalition in 2024. It’s exactly what this country needs.
It does not matter who is in government, the last time Labour were in power they were no different from the Tories.

Honest, decent and empathetic, someone who genuinely believes that how you feel is more important than how he or she feels.
An intelligent back bencher with experienced management skills would fit the bill …. but it almost certainly won’t happen.

The problem is the candidates who the wider Conservative party get to chose from will be decided by vested interests, Brydo. They won’t have choice of anyone else.
