Hello,
Newbie looking at first Motability car, looking at small SUV’s and it has to be auto. Was hoping for AWD but hardly anything on there.
Given it’s half way through August, should i wait until the new list on 1st September or is it a case of grab vehicles whilst you can?
Many thanks!

If the car you want is on the scheme now and the AP is affordable, order now, no guarantee that the car will be there on the next list, which is not September but 1st October

August 15, 2023 at 8:21 pm #230206Ah yes, sorry my bad! No idea why i had 1st September rather than 1st October in my head.
Nothing grabbing me tbh, Toyota Yaris X was a nice test drive but no AWD option which i think is what is making me hesitate.
August 16, 2023 at 5:01 am #230215If you do see a car that you like and are happy with the AP, order it straight away.
If you wait you may loose out as cars can be removed part way through a quarter.
Don’t dilly dally!
Four wheel drive cars currently on the scheme
Skoda Enyaq Race Blue
August 22, 2023 at 6:35 pm #230755All being well will order the BMW i4 tomorrow after a long test drive. The AP is locked in if it increases or will be adjusted if it falls. Proving to be a very popular model with good demand so am not going to play a waiting game.

CWHi, what I done was locked a car in at a certain price, and because it was 3 weeks to the new Q, the dealers said ‘lock this price in, and in 3 weeks if the price goes down come in cancel your order and reorder at the new price, and you’ll still keep that car you’ve ordered’
And that’s what I did.
Hope this helps, Chris

JohnWe only ordered on the 13th of August and we pick up next Friday the 1st with the new 73 reg…. so waiting times (Renault at least) are much quicker than they have been for a few years. I suggest get your order in before Sep 1 knowing that if the AP reduces you can cancel and re-order… and if the AP rises then you can sit there nice and smugly lol
