Hi I am just wondering if anyone has any idea how long the vw wait is ATM thanks

That is really good news Tbag and Mikey16 and have heard on the grapevine that VW are banging quite few cars out this month assumedly because the factory was more or less closed most of March and April while they built up a small reserve of computer chips and diverted wiring harnesses from the Allspace factory in US/Mexico.
I still think I’ve got another 6 months to go before mine turns up and my dealer gave a, what I think is an honest answer last week, that they can’t say if my order, that was expected in April then changed to October, will turn up any earlier because VW are keeping them in the dark as much as we are being kept in the dark but cars just suddenly turn up almost out of the blue.

Thank you for all the information which has helped me to set realistic expectations.
Ordered an ID3 on 6 October 2021. Originally told six month but now all gone quiet and looks like 12 months + is the most likely wait.
Ordered ID3 Tour 77kwh 06 October 2021. After some advice from the lovely guys in here like James Cheer am not expecting it until 2024.
First time ordering a motability car. So main concern is my AP and that my PIP is up for renewal in 2024 and as always expecting a struggle to get it reinstated.
I ordered my VW ID3 through Zenith in Nov 2021. As per the latest email, the expected delivery date is shifted to May 2023. As the time goes by, I am becoming less hopeful to get it on time. Anyone received theirs after ordering around the same time?
Ordered Tiguan Elegance July 2021 latest told being built this month with expected delivery late February 2023; been told there is a long waiting list to be delivered to this country someone in spoke tells me they waited 19 weeks good luck keep in touch. Allan
I am still waiting to hear any kind of meaningful information. The race is on @Nav! And @Imran Rasool, you will win the prize (the Good Grief trophy) for the longest wait.
I hear some chatter on the forums of Max and Tour having a run early 2023. Fingers crossed all.

Hi. Ordered Tiguan 2.0 tsi r-line nov 2021. Collected last week. Previously had a Tiguan SEL diesel version and agreed with everything Glos Guy said about them. However, the petrol version is a very different animal – much more responsive and enjoyable to drive. Not going to enjoy the MPG so much, but with diesel about 30p a litre more expensive locally, the extra cost won’t be too painful.
At the beginning of the thread i said we were quoted 6 months and expected 10 – we’re now in the 13th, with car being in production – probably a february-ish delivery, making it 15-16 months wait.
Prior: SEAT Ateca Xcellence Lux 1.5 TSI DSG MY19, VW Golf GTE PHEV DSG MY23
Current: Hyundai Ioniq 6 Ultimate
Next: we'll see what's available in 2028.Ordered an ID.3 on the 17/09/21 and have just been advised today of a build date of week 46 or week beginning November 14th 2022. So realistically a Jan /Feb 2023 delivery.
Same day that I ordered mine! But cancelled in October this year, I am not confident that VW have their shit together anymore.

We have be advised of a confirmed build date of Week 12 2023.
Order date 17/09/21.

Good luck – our build date, once confirmed, stayed firm – so fingers crossed.
