Sorry folks fingers not working too good this morning, pressed the wrong button.
Anyway meant to say the volvo xc40 b4 seems to be on the motability site, seems excellent value for inscription Pro and 194 bhp at a ap cost £2199, mistake or very good deal.
It,s on if you had looked at car numbers on scheme you would have found out hours ago.
Yeah, its good but no B4P R Design Pro auto yet…..
Yeah b4 xc40 is on but I see Motability have a mistake on the website, they have it diesel when it’s petrol, but never mind just glad it’s back! Even if it is in Henry Ford Black!

Jamesg it’s the first thing I do in the morning lol, but I like to see which model as been added if it’s a car I’m very interested in.
My point was is it a mistake on motability site seeing how things are with the problems the site seems to be having with cars being added and taken off again or is it a genuine or will it be taken off again, more bhp, better spec and over £1600 lower ap, I think it ain’t going to last.
Just wish I was in a position to order now. ?

Apparently martino the b4 is a petrol hybrid, but I’m sure Sombody will put me right if I’ve got it wrong.
Yes you are correct Landyman, I asked Motability about this but I’m afraid I don’t think they completely understood that the b4p is petrol, they just said ring your Volvo dealer and they will be able to tell you whether it is petrol or not!

This is an odd one. If you google B4P it brings up quite a few lease sites. There’s also B5P.
The 4 is quoted as a 2.0L, 197bhp petrol engine & the 5 as a 2.0L, 250bhp petrol.? I will be remembered for nothing but had great fun doing it ?
Am i missing something here ? whats the difference from a T4 to a B4 apart from a letter. On paper they are the same car only the options are a little more expensive.

I’ve just queried this with Motability via the chat facility on their website. They have confirmed that the B4 is available, but they are “having some technical difficulties with the website at the moment” which they are working on. However I was also told that dealers will be able to proceed with an application “later today”. So there you go.

Update… this afternoon we’ve been into Volvo in Leeds and their Motability guy knew nothing about it!
And now it does appear to have disappeared from the search tool again ???
So thanks to Ant’s chat with Motability, it’s there but the search tool is screwed up.
If it stays there for a few months, this is a serious contender.? I will be remembered for nothing but had great fun doing it ?
How well do you think it will improve mpg? The mpg on a Petrol auto was mainly what previously put me off … and the paint charge.
Just the price of a factory fit tow bar is enough to put me off.
A fraction over £1,200.
I’d be surprised if the improvement was more than 3 to 4 mpg
