Volvo cars on motability, I have had 3 Volvo estate cars new,but since the v70 v60 v90 are not on scheme ,Volvo are at bottom of my list, the tiny xc40 v40 are rediculouse choices for disabled haveing to carry wheelchairs mobility scooters, often both, do you not understand this volvo volvo is very disappointing ,it needs to at least have v60 estate ,because the new v60 is bigger, reps would not buy the old v60 too small, and V90 NEEDS TO BE ON SCHEME EVEN IF IT HAS £4000 AP.

Over the last decade or so Volvo have undeniably evolved into a premium brand to rival the likes of Mercedes, BMW and Audi, and the prices reflect this. If you choose to insist on a premium brand which is absolutely your right to do, you have to accept that the numbers won’t add up for a semi-fixed cost system – there’s no A6 avant or Merc E-Class estate on the scheme either, for example.

There are cars on the scheme as big as the Volvos, just without the Volvo badge. I’m not going to dig deep but I expect the Skoda Superb Estate, Ford Mondeo Estate, Peugeot 308SW and probably others have similar internal dimensions. If you NEED the Volvo badge (I personally am a fan of them so this reply is in no way dismissive of the brand – and drive an XC60 now, just a little unhappy with the tech levels in the last gen and the fuel efficiency) then Motability isn’t going to be the answer for you personally at the moment.

I do agree when I joined the scheme again and looked at the limited choice of volvos it was a big disappointment.

Not just Volvo but all manufacturers. if you need a large suv type vehicle choice was and is limited.

But I know it’s down to the price cap and so it’s always going to be the case unless there’s a massive rise.

Id jump at a poverty spec Xc90 or its equivalent if it came on the scheme.
