Thanks for all the sensible answers and support given to a complete newbie, Today I bagged a Skoda Kamiq 1.5 automatic, in moon white, delivery sometime next week. Sometimes you just get lucky! a cancellation and I was in the right place at the right time!
I decided not to pt ex my old Merc, I will sell her privately, too good to let a trader have all the value out of it 😉

That’s great news, Sometimes if you not too fussy regarding trim or colour etc you can get something alot quicker. Which imo is better than nothing, when your first looking at joining the scheme, especially so right now with some of the long waits some have had.

As long as it meets all your needs that is. Happy motoring soon and GL selling your merc.
