We’ll, just done 320 miles round trip to pick the lad up from University for Easter break.

yet another really great, comfortable drive in my Škoda Superb estate,

the 1.5 Ltr petrol engine isn’t too small for the dst, never feels underpowered, adaptive cruise control set to motorway speeds, works fantastically.

320 miles, average speed of 59 mph, mpg of 42.1 and a driving time total of 5hrs 18mins.

      absolute fantastic car

Hi there I agree the Superb is umm well superb our last was the hatch with the 2ltr turbo we had it an extra eight months due to Mercedes delays, it was a bitter sweet to see it go.

Also agree wholeheartedly. Brilliant vehicle. Like JN, above, we had the2.0L turbo petrol with 230-ish bhp. Wonderfully comfy and delightfully prompt when asked. If I ever have to go off-scheme for a car, it’ll be the best second-hand Superb  I can afford. An L&K petrol 4×4? Well, a chap can dream can’t he?

We said goodbye to our 2017 Superb SEL exec tdi 190 last Wednesday when we picked our new lease up. As the name suggests it was a superb car right down to its niceties, such as under seat draws, umbrellas in the doors, DVD player and a ice scraper in the filler flap. The leather seats were at a good height so you didnt fall in or have climb out of it.  In fact it was probably one of the best cars we have had on the scheme.

Again, completely agree, folks. Must admit to being a bit mystified as to why VAG allows it to be made and sold. Surely taking business away from the company’s Passat, Arteon and Audi posh saloons. And all for many thousands of quid cheaper.

Been running my car in “Eco” engine mode since fuel price went crazy, and the car did 49 average in two trips of 26 miles each, some of it in 40 zones with stopping for lights, and the majority on 70 dual carriageway i kept speed to around 60 used a very light foot.

Car is 2.0 Ford Ecoblue Diesel AWD Auto.
