If you have been caught by a mobile speed camera, does the paperwotk that follows go direct to the motorbilty customer or to motorbiliy then forwarded to the customer..?

I could be wrong, but it would usually go to the registered keeper of the vehicle. That is you.

It goes to you.  Depending on the circumstances, you could be offered a speed awareness course, still pay a £100, but no points. Do it on line or attend a course in a hotel or such. I just did one in a hotel. Not too bad. Or just pay fine and accept the points. Nothing to do with motobility.

I would have thought that it went to Motability who then forwarded it to the customer, but not having had one I wouldn’t know 😇😂

You might be lucky. Many police force areas (mine included) will only issue a ticket if you are 10% above the speed limit + 2 mph so, for example, on a motorway the lowest speed to trigger a ticket would be 79 mph. Also keep in mind that car speedometers usually overstate by a couple of mph. Speed awareness courses will only be offered if you are only just above the limit and you haven’t done one before in the same force area. They are worth doing though as, unlike points, you don’t have to declare them.

It goes to the registered keeper, which is you as Ive found out more than once and now set the funds aside for a speed awareness course every three years 🤣

As you have so much experience of Speed Awareness Courses, you could maybe offer yourself up as a tutor? 🤣

Cleveland & Durham driver training run by the LA is the cheapes’t course in WEngland & Wales by some margin, if your able to book an online course, which are about 1.5hrs shorter than an attened course.

My last course was December 2021 so I’m overdue 🤣

Did mine with Durham, only thing in just over 50 years of driving!

Apparently having a severe IBS episode may or may not be good reason for going 58 in a 50 limit while trying to get to the next roundabout to get to a garage!!!.  I mentioned it to the chap who was running the course and he reckons I should have tried to get it dropped for extenuating cirmstances 🙂

Please excuse spelling/typos. Apart from being a clot it turns out I had one on my cerebellum that's now causing various problems!
