They are approaching 10 years old and their batteries are going to fail en masse. Just look at the older leafs now and you will see them advertised with 9 of 12 battery bars still remaining. The old leaf on Topgear the other week had a range of just 35 miles, that car will soon be sat on someone’s drive dead, and with Nissan wanting £8,000 for a replacement battery they are just going to get scrapped.
Interesting because where will that put a car that is only 2 years away from that? a car such as mine that is 4 years away is going to depreciate very quickly when you could have a brand new car for 2 years on PCP for the same price. So I am selling mine quick before the press picks up on this. ?
