Hello, Nathan.
What added value do you think you bring to Motability customers?
To me, for example, price is one of the main considerations and Skoda Guildford always (in the last three years at least) refused to offer any discount, whilst their competitors would offer £500 or even £750 cashback.

Added value isn’t always about monetary reductions. Yes it helps, but for me the number of times I’ve spoken to Motability customers who have been “palmed off” and not given the time of day by a Sales Executive who only wanted to deal with retail, then come to me (not Skoda Guildford) because I offer a personable approach. I look after you from start to finish.
I have helped a number of customers on this forum for many years now and have a successful client base from the Facebook Page. Word and mouth reccomendations have played a huge part. Thats my value.
I cant answer for Skoda Guildford in the past. All I can say is that im not against offering reductions, or paying for transport/accommodation to come down. Id rather the business than not. I wont be the cheapest though 👍
Hope that answers your question. Here to help anyone who wants a Skoda – and who knows maybe I’ll start the new Quarter with an offer on the range 😉

June 26, 2025 at 5:37 pm #307223Hi Nathan – I noticed your initial post when it was first put on – It caught my attention as I had visited Guildford Škoda end march beginning of April – at that stage I was still looking at another couple of possibilities.
A few weeks Back now I ordered my Elroq 85 sportline maxx from a different dealer – this is why – when I requested a test drive at Guildford I was told – our choice of route – accompanied and about 15-20 mins – laughable – I explained that there was no way I could assess suitability under those conditions. The lady was not for turning.
Hence I test drove and ordered elsewhere – swop to Elroq – my seventh car on scheme end of July.
I decided to tell you this because there maybe other customers on this forum who have experienced similar at Guildford.
If you are new to Guildford – laying out your terms of testing might be useful to you – most of us would expect at least an hour unaccompanied drive – with maybe a return visit to check out what we forgot and maybe even order.

Unfortunately this doesn’t surprise me.
Ive now been in situ as Sales Manager for 3 weeks so this was before my time. The Motability specialists who you would have dealt with have now moved on shall we say.
I am committed to building a strong Motability Base at Guildford so anybody considering a Skoda I would love the opportunity.
June 26, 2025 at 7:50 pm #307244I’m very lucky in that pretty much all dealerships around me in Cornwall are ready and willing to treat Motability customers as well as the retail ones, with the exception (so far) of Mercedes who couldn’t get rid of us quick enough.
There are dealerships with Sales Managers who understand us and too many who don’t. I’m glad Guildford has found one of the good guys.

I'll try to give my honest opinion but am always open to learning.Mark

If you want / can have a car by Monday, Skoda Derby (ask for Ryan) has Skoda Enyaq Coupe 85x SportLine in black and can make it for £1,799 (instead of £2,799) or SUV one in Sport line trim (without the Maxx package) for £1,299 instead of £2,299.
I was thinking about it, but won’t be able to collect by Monday, as I require adaptation.
