Been to see the new Kuga today, it had just arrived and was being cleaned ready for the showroom so our visit was very timely and lucky!

We are a bit disappointed. Inside it felt just like our current Kuga that we love, but outside, no, don’t like the shorter height or longer length, don’t like the front grill or it’s angle. Feel it’s a lot of AP for what it is. It’s helped knock it off our list for certain now though! That’s at least something!
Our current Kuga is only giving us 27 to 28 mpg so we hope to get something that offers a bit more.

I went to look at the new Kuga yesterday, what a disappointment. I have had two Kugas but will not be buying another one. My wheelchair will not fit in the back because of the steeply sloping back window. Why do manufacturers do this, it is definitely a case of style over function.

Visited local ford dealer today & a new Kuga in the show room on display – the ST Line £37 k plus & with the additions to display model £40k

to each their own but I can’t see how that can charge that amount – for what is in my limited but honest petrol head opinion – is a slight upgrade from the last generation Kuga. When you mark a vehicle in this price bracket – alongside stablemates from premium Mercedes, bmw, Audi etc…. it makes no sense.
I’m no badge snob nor am I biasied (I’ve had a coupe of fords on the scheme) but I’ve just ordered the MG HS exclusive auto & imho much more premium, better spec’d and otr price than the Ford Kuga!!
MG HS exclusive auto AP of £999 but for, still well spec’d lower trim manual £0 AP (£199 AP auto).

for the AP on the new ford Kuga – I doubt it’ll get many orders tbh

but good luck to those who do ?

Blimey just like mg’s of old then, mind you ford had to recall and change lots of new MK3 focus Rs’s Engines and headgaskets  due to the wrong gasket being fitted in all the early cars.
Once they realised they fitted the correct gasket and all has been well.

                so it’s not uncommon.

What about all the ford ecoboost engines that blew up and ford tried covering it up at first and then spent ages denying anything was wrong to eventually have to recall all of them.
