This is my first car on the scheme and so far so good. Couldn’t fault Renault in Swansea great service from start to finish. Asked about price difference in the next quarter and he said if it goes down he’ll resubmit the order at the cheaper price. Expecting delivery the middle of May

AP is £2495 and I’ve driven it twice and also taken it on the Motorway.

I’m not sure sorry I wanted the Diamond Black so didn’t ask what others were available.

The middle of the range Espirit Austral and the Qashqai e-Power are the top of my list. Just waiting to see how good or bad the new April figures are.
What colour have you gone for?

I spoke to Justin when we went look at the Austral.

I’ve gone for Diamond black the car I test drove was red with the black roof and didn’t look half as good to me
March 25, 2024 at 4:29 pm #269817Has it got power boot opening ?

March 25, 2024 at 6:00 pm #269823Do you know if the back seats all slide forward on a rail?
Would you say you sit high up as in a Kia Sportage for example?
Does the passenger seat increase in height?

Yes the back seats can move on a 60/40 split the ride height is comparable to Sportage. The passenger seat does move up and down I know that as my wife used it this afternoon ?

Thank you for the info. I was really meaning do the back seats move horizontally backwards and forwards on a slide rather than folding down ?

March 27, 2024 at 3:55 pm #270063hi there, ordered my Espirit Alpine Austral 11/03/24 collected it 22/03/24 from stock had the colour I wanted.met. black, and I must say it has been a fantastic choice electric/heated/mass. seats, heated s/wheel electric tailgate with open by key, switch on dash.or tailgate sliding rear seats, realy plush interior, boot space is more than enough and don’t be put off by the small engine it has loads of pull. looked at the iconic trim as I would have liked the sunroof but not for a large extra advance payment don’t need high end hi-fi or 4 wheel steering anyway. Over all have a test drive and make your own mind up

There’s quite a bit of discussion over on the Austral Facebook pages about the car mats. When collecting their cars, a fair number of people have had to buy the mats as an extra. Some being charged £75 or more. In all the posts I read, after contacting Renault, the people who got charged for the mats have now been reimbursed by Renault direct. Car mats should be in with the car, not to be bought as extras.
