Recently had to take my Audi Q3 back to the dealership for repairs. With only 1300 miles on the clock it would appear the windscreen washer pump has failed, no fluid was reaching the front or rear screens. Additionally there are failures in the electronics, for example the traffic sign recognition regularly stops working, the yellow Audi pre sense warning light is continuously on, (the front sensors are clean by the way), the main handbrake, (there are 2 functions),  spontaneously applies whenever I come to rest in traffic, and yesterday on a clear day I got a dash warning for limited visibility !! The dealership insisted that a rental car had to be brought to the garage for me before they would look at repairing the car. Fine I thought, I called Motability and they put me directly through to Europcar mobility department. I asked for for car with high seating and automatic transmission. They said no problem, I will get a RAV4 or a Qashqai. Delivery was arranged for the next day 11 a.m. The next morning I received a call from Europcar saying I would not be getting a high seat vehicle and it would be arriving at 1 p.m.. and then got another call saying it wouldn’t be automatic either and it would be arriving at 3 p.m. then another call saying it would be 4 p.m. but I would get a text message with 30 minutes warning. Needless to say no text message arrived. The following day I drove over to the Audi dealership (probably illegally, no windscreen wash facility) and lo and behold car was waiting for me. The bad news was it was a Mercedes CLA 200 AMG, nice car, but for someone who has mobility problems and drives an Audi Q3 is probably the worst car you could give, very low, difficult for me to get in and even more difficult to get out of. Audi took the car in with the usual comment, windscreen washer jets will be frozen up, I replied the car is  garaged every night and it’s not possible for them to be frozen. My maximum minimum thermometer declared the temperature was no lower than 4 degrees overnight. So my conclusions so far,  Motability very good and helpful, Audi pretty poor for a car with 1300 miles on the clock, Europcar avoid at all costs.

Just why do dealerships treat customers in such away is beyond me. Also Eurocar need a kick up the rear as well. If a motability customer request a certain vehicle type because of their disability needs, then that is what they should get. I hope you get it all sorted soon @Rikki
