      Does anyone know?

Which small/med/auto cars on the scheme offer auto lane centring steering

The system that could steer itself and keep between the white lines for short distances

All a bit of a minefield when looking at specs was hoping the fiesta/Corsa might have such a thing.

I find trawling through badly laid out specs quite confusing

Any pointers appreciated and most welcome

Well I picked mine up today and I have to say I’m not keen on the lane assist, every time you start to cross a line it has a go back with the steering wheel so you sort of snake into the next lane or if passing a parked car you have to swerve in a bit of a panic as the gap you had to overtake is reduced by it swerving back at the parked car, at least the emergency brake assist works a treat as once it had aimed me back towards the parked car it had a fit and braked heavily but allowed me to steer clear, going to find a way to switch it off permanently as there is a little switch on the dash but you have to do that every time you start the car and it lights a bright orange symbol on the display.

The ACC works a treat, my only gripe is the 3 distance settings, having it on the closest is still nowhere near close enough to stop plebs pulling in right in front of you on the motorway.

I believe the lane assist only pushes you back if you don’t indicate – indicating disables it temporarily. You’re driving a VW, not a BMW 😛
