My current lease ends on 14th Jan and my window to apply has opened but choice in this quarter is limited for my budget and dealers available in my area. Can I wait til the next quarter opens on 1st Jan to see whats available then?

Yes you can wait but APs might be higher and the choice even less.

Go to your online account on motability  and extend your lease, you can order anytime whilst on extension

That is incorrect.  That only applies to new customers. As Mac is renewing, the NVP still applies.

It does suggest that nvp will be gradually phased out, once everyone has had a claim on the payment.

They said I can’t extend my lease as I have over 20,000 miles (28,000) and that I’m not entitled to the £750 new vehicle payment as I would have got it previously??

Put in a written query or complaint, as the information is incorrect. If your last lease was 3 years ago, the £750 nvp was not applicable then.

The person you communicated with must be new on the job….lol.

That date is for new customers joining the scheme. Existing members will get it when they renew their lease.
