Honestly, I’m becoming very disappointed with what seems like the quarterly increases. Currently with a year left on an extended lease and nothing suitable seems to be less than £4K AP.
September 26, 2024 at 1:55 pm #289349Totally agree with your point, constant increases unless manufacturers want to use the scheme to offload cars or increase sales this is when prices seem to drop, was at recent Motability event in Edinburgh and every rep I spoke to warned off increases, don’t know where they think the funds come from to pay these ridiculous advanced payments, I’ve got eleven months to go and every quarter suitable cars become unreachable due to such high advance payments, I’m so fed up saving from new car to next counting what I can save for my next car advanced payment, whilst Motability CEO and staff live off large salaries and bonuses, also the good condition bonus being lowered by £400, seriously thinking my current car will be my last on scheme after 37 years using Motability even though the scheme is good value for some vehicles I feel most suitable cars for me are beyond affordability due to advanced payments.
September 26, 2024 at 6:20 pm #289359I have noticed that you have a fewposts on the same topic. Namely Cupra. It would be better if you keeped all posts in the same thread. as they are all closely related. That way all Cupra posts are available in the same place, which makes it easier for members to follow.
Something to consider…

Yes @civilrights I know that you are new to the forum, hence my suggestion on posting and keeping it under one heading. Yes I am sure the info regarding the Cupra will be helpful to our membership.
Best wishes. Joss

My thinking was when I initially added the First topic it got no response so I thought by emphasising Q4 new prices that it might attract members that where considering a Cupra vehicle as I did not want them to miss out on the savings before the 1st of October but it’s all good joss that’s hope Q4 Will bring some nice surprises for members joss
