Ask for a cooy of his report once its available.
I asked for a copy of mine and it took 4 weeks to get here. On the whole its fairly accurate but i would say there are 3 areas where the notes that the assessor recorded are totally wrong and don’t accurately reflect the session.
One example was us having a long discussion about me having surgery on my leg following an accident some years ago, which has since led to osteoarthritis. I gave the assessor a lot of detail about what happened yet the assessor recorded that I went to hospital but there was no surgery. Just totally wrong.
I can only assume that the decision maker read the significant detail about that accident and surgery in my application and realised the assessor got it wrong.
Fingers crossed for you. So horrible that the stress it brings to wait…..

Hopefully, the assessor will have done a good job of it and will indicate the correct amount of points for you and then you will be able to forget all about it for a very long time.
As @Joss says, should things not go to plan, we’re all here to support and advise you as best we can so that you will get the correct award.

Thankyou so much Zelda joss pops etc I’d been worried this week but when he came he was a nice young man he smiled a lot and could see how disabled I was an examined my hands to see I can’t move my fingers etc we offered him a drink but he didn’t want one he was very busy putting what I said into his laptop ! Zelda I will phone Monday for the assessors report will they send it to me in the post ? I can’t thank you all enough for your support it has brought tears to my eyes as I write this on my iPad I wish you all a lovely weekend

Yes, they will send the report out by post, if they have it. Hopefully the assessor will have got straight onto it and it will have got to the DWP, if not just leave it a couple of days and try again.
Not sure how long it will take, I rang for mine, waited two weeks for it to arrive before phoning again, only to find that it hadn’t been sent, though when I rang the 2nd time, the call handler gave me my decision, which had already been sent out by post a few days earlier but I had yet to receive it, so the call handler sent me a copy of the report and a copy of the decision which arrived 2 days later and still a whole week before the original decision letter arrived. Other people will have their own tales to tell regarding how long it takes for the report to arrive but suffice to say, it will turn up when it turns up, lol 😀 but it should be no longer than 2 weeks before you ring again if need be.
Anyway, with a bit of luck they will give you an ongoing award so that you’re not inconvenienced in such a manner again, or at least for a very long time.
