December 24, 2024 at 10:15 am #295336And not a single car to get me excited. I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but why does electric need to be do boxy and ugly.

Agreed

Not electric and not yet another SUV would be great.

Agreed
Thank goodness we still have the likes of imo the sleek sexy looking Megan ETEC that breaks that mould

I do like the look of the new cupra Tavascan which in my eyes isn’t ugly, but I can’t see it coming onto the scheme ☹️
December 24, 2024 at 3:13 pm #295352I do so agree about the looks issue. The Hyundai Ioniq 6 is about the only car on the scheme which actually looks like a car and not the result of the mating of a tractor and a Panzer. Ridiculous AP though.
December 24, 2024 at 5:28 pm #295356The new Honda Prelude hybrid is the only car that actually excites me late 2025/early 2026.
There are still some of us left on the Motability scheme who’d prefer something ‘fun’ and something that isn’t pure electric or a bloody SUV!
December 24, 2024 at 7:27 pm #295359@Solent60 spot on. This looks like such a great car and good on Honda for bringing back a coupe and the Prelude name (though I wonder if it’s just a Civic underneath), at a time when the likes of the Capri have been turned into yet another anonymous SUV.

Speculation suggests it will be based on the modern Civic platform, which is no bad thing imo. The 2 motor hybrid engine in the Civic and Accord will also be shared.

Side on reminds me of a Audi TT, nice car though.
December 25, 2024 at 3:02 pm #295378I do hope the Toyota BZ4X AWD comes back or even for the Subaru Solterra to make an appearance else the Lexus RZ450 but that would entail a very high AP.
December 26, 2024 at 12:45 am #295388Is Toyota giving the bZ4X a new name?
Is Toyota finally ditching the bZ4X name with new electric SUVs en route?
