Got my new car today – v happy, even after the fiasco outlined in the Ioniq 5 Deliver Times thread.

My dealer is pretty  good at handling customers, even if Hyundai aren’t.  Took me through everything I needed to know, signed the papers and off I went!

I’ve only  driven about an hour so far – mixed driving -and loving it so far. Quiet, quick and V comfy. Much easier to get into than my old Kona Electric…..and SO MUCH SPACE!

It is beautiful dude. That colour and trim is one of the best. I.ve seen a few out on the road, black, white, and that colour is the best.

I wasnt fussy about the colour, but it hides the dirt really well, more so than the white an black cars.

Nice glad you’re enjoying it, ours still hasn’t been swapped over to a my25 model when we login.

Is that meta blue pearl colour?

I thought that colour was new for my25

Looks like meta blue on that photo, i guess they’re pretty similar, since i saw the meta blue im thinking of asking them to swap my colour from black after the orders been upgraded to my25, the blue goes really well with the silver trims

Same here just waiting for the change over to my25.

I will then speak with the dealer and see if I can change colour.

He did say that once the change over has taken place we can discuss this, before placing the order.

The 5 is an automotive tardis isn’t it.  It’s not the smallest ‘hatchback’ on the outside but the feeling of space inside is amazing.  I’ve had friends in the car who have had some executive cars and they still felt smaller.  The biggest compliment for the car was when I picked up a former manager who said he had less space in the back of his old 750l BMW limousine.

I like the colour too, I’ve seen a few over the summer in various colours including various shades of grey in both gloss and matte and the two versions with actual colour (blue and green) look much better.

                      Enjoy the car.

It is so big inside!  So comfy too – I will easily spend lots of time in this car!  Camping too!

The rear is massive, i put the drivers seat in my position and then sat in the back and couldn’t believe the leg room, never been in the back of a car with even close to that room.

I slid the rear seats to their furthest forward position making the boot enormous and i still had more leg room than you get in the back of our current car.

The funny thing is theres a few people in the enyaq threads who said they didn’t choose the ioniq 5 because there weren’t much leg room in the rear, they’ve clearly never even viewed the ioniq 5 in reality and for some strange reason trying to put the ioniq 5 down saying they viewed both ioniq5 and enyaq and the enyaq was much better

                          Strange behaviour

You get that in all walks of life. Just be happy you know better and move on 🙂
