I have today been to see kia motability , in all my experiences over several motability cars, this has been BEST ,HONEST FRIENDLY CAREING KNOWLEDGABLE ,APPRECIATED RESPECTFULLY experience I’ve had , had test drive had done extensive research into sportage, found model I wanted most suitable for my needs, KIA SPORTAGE 1.6 PETROL HEV GT LINE S AWD AUTO INFERA RED,********** 10 star people ,, order accepted ,told delivery June 2024 ,colour I chose was quickest delivery,kia said, cars already ordered had taken 5 months, am told will order accepted receive 2025 model,

Sounds like we both went to the same dealers, Micky. Went for the same as you except FWD, didn’t see the point of dragging an extra 180kg of weight around for 2 or 3 days of snow we get down here!
Did you go for the black roof?
If any of you choose to deal with kia motability ,today I have found brillient easy experiance ,kia seem to be careimg & and appreciate the order from motability customer . I can’t praise Kieran. Ryan .& John manager kia emg enough.
Yes Markyate the model I chose has all bells whistles ,chose AWD am aware mpg effected slightly by AWD but have chosen that . Online there is lot comes up when kia sportage uk googled about X1 sportage choice cream or red seats etc ,but that’s usa model, keeps bringing up when sportage uk entered Google.
Black roof I understand is standard on GT LINE S model sunroof,?, its on model I chose anyway ,kia seemed interest in our military careers, very friendly polite honest. I found this car far bigger eay to drive easy get in and out, 6ft people can fit in rear,

The black roof is an optional extra at £150. Although, you chose Infra red which is the free colour on the Sportage so they might not have charged you. Best to check on your order document, it should read next to colour, Infra Red + B. If it doesn’t, get back in touch with the dealer.
@mickyarmy Yes, the USA and some other countries get a lot more choice with interiors than we do. I’ve watched around 60 odd reviews from all around the world, plus a few written ones here in the UK, and all sound very good. A few issues reported on KIA Sportage forums, but you always get that with forums, nobody ever posts how happy they are with their cars!!
Hopefully the time goes quick and you’ll be sitting in the front seat enjoying the drive.
They’re a lovely car congratulations!!! It makes such a difference to get a bit of respect in these places. It’s awful in some garages and totally put me off certain brands.

Ahh well I’ve just had phone call from my motability dealer ,saying you are correct it’s option ,but he says I’m getting 2025 model & black roof on these models no longer available, so disapointed BUT doesn’t matter I agree with Markyate it’s nice black roof but all reds OK, thankyou for pointing out
I loved the way the hev works around city ,but in country petrol engine used more, lovely car kias best seller and several choices on motability scheme at present. Keep well dear forum mates.
Kj35 I agree with you so much I’ve had awfull disrespect from dealerships even when buying new car not motabilty , difficult understand you would thought good to make sale, and I have certainly seen unhelpfully disinterest from volvo dealers, a big heavy man from Ford when I was looking at mondeo in past ,never answered my questions then said we’ll its gona rain I’ve got to get back my desk where he was eating a bap, he didn’t do ford dealership any good ,prompting poor reviews.

That’s a buggar, he’s right, you can now only get the black roof with silver, white and green colours now. That’s a real shame as I think the red looks good with the black roof.
