I spoke to motorbility yesterday they have said my contract is ending on 13th may as I’m getting new car but I said that was news to me as I can’t get a order number from dealership but if car is delayed I have to tell motorbility so I can keep my car how can they be told a date when I haven’t I’m waiting for BMW X1

That will be your contract end date, end of 3 years,they will extend that until new car arrives

You can order 3 months before end of contract on  date 13th Feb i presume,but as you only ordered in April the contract is up before new car arrives,you just keep the car until new one arrives,the dealer normally tells them of any delays but not a problem to tell them if needed

It’s not end of my contract that’s not u til October I have extended for 5 years so I can chose a car anytime in the last year which I have but my current contract won’t end unless my car arrives 12 October just don’t understand why dealer told them 13th of may I’m gonna ring see if I can get a order number

I’ve had motorbility cars for over 10 years it’s first time they told me a date rather than dealer

It’s the first time we’ve had a pandemic that’s shut whole countries down too. Think there’s a bit of a precedent for unusual things to happen right now. Also could just be a mistake best bet is to ask the dealer like you say.

That’s strange, my handback date says to be arranged with dealer, but then mine had come to an end as such cause I cancelled early to order another car

Yeah mine said no later then 12oct I wanted to get the deal I was offered so I ordered new car on my order form says 1 June for car but motorbility said 13 may I can’t get through to dealership to ask I will keep trying
