Over the last few weeks I have been noticing more and more 22 plates being driven around, all nice and shiny with shiny black tyres. It apperas to me IMO that the shortage of new cars are starting to come through, even for Motability. I was parked today at hospital sandwiched between, 2 new Puma’s, 1 Niro and 1 Mokka which all had blue badges.

The cars I have seen more and more is the MOKKA, Kia Niro and the Ford Puma along with just a few BMW’s X1 and X3’s.

So hopefully it’s the start of the ordered cars starting to come through. What is it like where you stay?

Current car 2019 Ford Kuga 1.5T Titanium X Edition (White)

On order new Vauxhall Grandland Ultimate 1.2 Turbo (Ruby Red)

Pretty much the same new cars that I’ve noticed on the roads too I too to be honest

2 neighbours have a new Puma one standard and one ST , watched a few videos on them And I think they look nice on the outside but still not loving the interior / dash etc

Kia Sportage looks night and day from the old model ??

My Sister in law has recently ordered a Mokka so I’ll see that in the flesh when it arrives

One new car that I really liked the look and design of was the Hyundai Ioniq 5 , but having saw quite a few on the road over the past few months that attraction has been very short lived lol

Saw very little German 22 plates on the roads in comparison though

I got one today but you won’t see it otr as it’s on a private plate. Not on the scheme though, I terminated my contract today and handed the car back to dealer I got the new one from. So now I own a car rather than leasing one. Great deal, free mats and a full tank of juice as well.

Last Thursday on my journey into work i saw 4 car carriers on the motorway which is the most i have seen this year.  hopefully a corner is turned and car manufactures are starting to get the factories back to something like full capacity again?
